Some London touring yesterday...

Yesterday morning, we headed out to meet up with Justin's coworker, Kerry, who is also staying in London. We decided to walk to Victoria station to meet her, and started by walking thru Hyde Park.
We walked by the Princess Di memorial fountain...
Saw this procession of horses, they were practicing for some big event in a month...
After meeting up with Kerry, we got on one of those red sight-seeing bus tours. This was our guide...
We rode past Buckingham Palace...
Past Westminster Abbey....
Past the tower that holds Big Ben...
Past the houses of parliament...
Past the London Eye, altho we have not yet ridden it...
Past the tower bridge, which we walked over later...
Past the Tower of London... which we walked around later...

Had lunch at the "Hung, Drawn and Quartered" Pub...
And then it started to rain... and it kept raining into the night...
So we got back on the sight-seeing bus, and saw the Grand Old Duke of York statue...

The Google headquarters in London...
The Winston Churchill statue...
By this point, our shoes were soaked thru as well as the bottom half of our pants... so we gave in and went to the Sherlock Holmes Pub for a pint... or two...

Then we went to the "Ye Old Watling" Pub and met up with Kerry's husband, John.
We then walked around to figure out where to do dinner... and walked by St Paul's Cathedral...
Another view of the cathedral...

We had dinner at a burger joint... as usual I went for the veggie option and made quite a mess of myself over a falafel burger... then we headed back to our hotel on the tube.

Overall we had a very eventful day. J & I slept in this morning... now we're heading off to Camden to walk around his old stomping grounds! (For those that don't know, J lived w/ his parents in London for 6 months when he was 13.)
Hope you enjoyed our pictures!
Cheers!
